Clarens & the fairy tale wedding

A great weekend away in the beautiful Clarens. Such a "quaint" little arty town with such hidden beauty and very naughty lil drinkie poo's with our hilarious personal collectors bunch of friends.
Even the drive down is fun, provided you have the right music and maybe plenty water to help the after math of a girls cocktail night.

The drive down- whip it, whip it good into shape...
There are so many great lil places in Clarens, so worth going down for the weekend. Here is where the 5 of us stayed- Jaxx, Fred, Yan, Se and myself. Sleeps 6- But only 2 rooms.....

Clarens is full of art galleries like Die Blou Donkie, hot! lots of lil restaurants that pretend they don't mind loud visitors. antique boutiques, eclectic lil stores- they have a Cherry store where you can find amazing lil foodies. yum! Here are some pics...

And then, my most exciting experiment- My Mini Diana-Whitey :) I bought this lil gadget in Hong Kong- Page One. The second film came out better than the 1st- this is a working project. Here are some of the better ones ..... eeeeek!

The Best Part- The beautiful Wedding Of Carla and Mark Jordan. Being a Bridesmaid is indeed hard work, but is worth every minute, the moment you see your friend up at the alter, infront of all her friends and family swearing to love (not like) her husband for the rest of her life. It truly something beautiful. Crazy scary! but magical. The wedding took place on Linwood farm, Carla and her family stayed in the farm house with the chapel and reception hall within rolling distance.

...and they lived happily ever after.
